Jakob is living his life day-by-day. Without any contact from his biological family, Jakob yearns to be a part of a family. He is currently living with a friend. Jakob tries to be in good spirits about his situation. He is fearful that one day, his friend's parents may ask him to move. The only place he feels is a home away from home is at his school. He shows up everyday just so he can get a hot meal and a place to interact with others that puts a smile on his face. He likes to read and listen to music.

Jakob lives everyday not knowing where he will place his head the next. However, he shows up to school daily so he can graduate high school, get a good job so he can provide a home for himself. Prom is coming up in a few months and he wants to be able to take his date in style. He wants to go to his prom in a limo to make his last few days of high school a blast. This is also one of his birthday wishes.
