Riley is a former foster youth who needs help with rent. She aged out of foster care prior to her state extending supports to age 21. Along the way, she found herself trapped in an abusive relationship. After a childhood history of abuse, having an abusive partner seemed sadly familiar. She recently escaped the relationship and moved to another city. She spent every penny she had to secure an apartment. She has a bed, her clothing and not much else. The apartment is so empty it almost echoes. Having help with March rent will give her peace of mind and allow her to focus on moving forward.
Riley is 28 years old and lives in OH
Riley’s favorite color is pink, and this color reflects her outlook. Even when she feels at her loneliest, she tries to put on rose-colored glasses and hold onto optimism. She works as a beautician and hairstylist because her hope has always been to bring beauty and hope to what has sometimes seemed to her to be a harsh and ugly world. She dedicated her time to become a licensed cosmologist, and is determined to continue stay resilient and persistent in moving forward.
