Lucas has grown an incredible amount since being placed in foster care. Lucas enjoys helping his foster parents provide for household animals including the dogs and chickens. Lucas loves learning how things work utilizing STEM toys to learn about circuits, robots, weather and other similar topics. Lucas is a great big brother and helps watch out for his three younger foster sisters. Lucas has identified coping skills and expresses desire to utilize grounding and mindfulness techniques to effectively manage his emotions. He is always asking questions to learn more about the world and his surrounding. Lucas is always a joy to be around and puts a smile on everyone's face!

Lucas loves being active but can get overwhelmed by everything around him. He loves his sister's sensory swing, but so does she, so he's hoping to get one of his own to take a break when he needs it. He loves how the swing feels like it is giving him a hug and how he can play in it in many different ways!
