Amenata is a motivated young woman who is dedicated to helping her community. She plans to major in Biology on a premed track at Rowan University. Her goal is to attend medical school and become an anesthesiologist. This career path will not only allow her to break barriers as someone who has been part of the foster system, but it will also enable her to represent Black women in the medical field.

Amenata is very excited to start her college journey this fall. She has started collecting all the items she will need. One item that was recommended by her school is an iPad for easier note-taking as well as easier sharing capabilities. Amenata will be so excited to have everything she needs in order to be properly prepared to major in Biology!
