Shamaj is a kind and caring young man. His father was recently incarcerated and he is having a very hard time not having a father figure with him at home. His mother is a single mom trying her best to make ends meet.

Shamaj is so excited that school is almost over and he can enjoy the summer. Shamaj is looking forward to attending summer camp this summer. He would like a new pair of Nikes to sport while he's at camp. A new pair of shoes will give his feet the support he needs to be active all summer long.
