Think of UsJoi is a resilient young woman who has recently transitioned out of foster care while beginning her college journey. Joi is navigating school, work, and caring for her siblings, all while managing the weight of past trauma and social anxiety. Despite these challenges, she finds comfort in her art, knitting, and caring for her cats, which help her maintain stability.
Joi is now living off-campus to help take care of her younger sibling. She is a junior in college and excelling but is unable to keep a job because of her overwhelming school schedule. She is in need of extra support getting to and from her classes and the extracurricular activities she is involved in at school. Having extra money for gas will help Joi be able to keep her focus on schoolwork and not worry about how she will get to class.
