Derrick is in need of some school clothes. It has stayed hot so far, and the school year will start out this way too. He would like to go pick out short sleeve shirts to rock. He loves the outdoors and sports and will need to keep cool while spending time outdoors.

Derrick is an amazing young man who is having a hard time adjusting to going into foster care. Derrick has remained hopeful, and is trying to stay focused. He is very quiet and does not talk to many people, and it takes him a very long time to relax and speak to people. Derrick is having a hard time finding friends, but is trying his best to reach out and make connections.
