Sierra has a very sweet disposition and has been in care for a few years. Sierra was adopted when she was younger and came back into care in 2021. Although Sierra has had a lot of trauma, she is very resilient and continues to have a positive outlook. Sierra is a very talented writer who enjoys writing stories about her life experiences. Sierra loves to read, and she reports that reading and writing are some of her positive coping skills. Sierra is very caring and enjoys spending time with her friends.

Sierra would like “Tricks” by Ellen Hopkins, as Ellen is one of her favorite authors. Ellen Hopkins writes stories that Sierra can relate to and are inspiring to her. Sierra would be excited if she received another book, as she often uses reading as one of her coping skills.
