Kelsey is a very smart young lady who has a love for animals and music. She has several cats, dogs, chickens, and goats that she helps the family look after and she has dreams of becoming an animal rescuer after high school. She is 1 of 5 sisters and although they have been split up in the foster care system, the remain very close and talk every day, thanks to the support and coordination from their case managers and placement providers.

In the evenings Kelsey likes to listen to music. However, she has to turn her radio down at nighttime so that she doesn't keep the rest of the house awake. She is requesting an MP3 player that she can plug her headphones into and listen to music while she falls asleep.
