She excels in school and particularly loves math and science. She is a true performer, and her energy fills the room. Isla has been in and out of foster care since she was very young and recently returned to her parental home after three years in foster care
Isla recently moved back in with her grandparents and is decorating her new bedroom in their home. She has artwork, soft lighting, and a corner in her room designated to creating artwork. She calls this room her "safe space and sanctuary" and has never had her own bedroom before. Aside from a sitting window full of pillows and blankets, Isla would add only one other thing to her sanctuary- PLANTS! But not real ones because she doesn't know how to take care of those just yet.
Department of Health and Human Services requests this wish for Isla.
