She is currently finishing her high school diploma while working part-time. In addition to her studies and job, Anika is the primary caregiver for her two nephews, and she is determined to keep them out of the foster care system, ensuring they remain close as a family. Although she loves her job and school, she is struggling to balance all her responsibilities. Her family is receiving support from NM CYFD.
Anika would like to be able to make dinner for her and her nephews. She recently moved nto a new apartment and is excited that they can all be together as a family. She is asking for new pots and pans to make delicious family meals.
