She is currently finishing her high school diploma while working part-time. In addition to her studies and job, Anika is the primary caregiver for her two nephews, and she is determined to keep them out of the foster care system, ensuring they remain close as a family. Although she loves her job and school, she is struggling to balance all her responsibilities. Her family is receiving support from NM CYFD.
Anika has finally been able to get permanent housing. She's asking for help getting some essentials for her and her nephews in their new home. Anika would like this some hand towels to put in her bathroom so the kids can easily dry their hands
