A stroller for Mariah who is a soon to be mom

Posted Feb 2, 2024
Mariah is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her new addition in April! However, as she has aged out of foster care, she has limited resources and support. As a result, she is unable to purchase several essential items required for her baby. Mariah is looking forward to taking walks with the baby outdoors and is searching for a stroller that can accommodate a car seat for when her baby is an infant. She would love to have a stroller that allows her and her baby to go out and meet their daily life goals. A stroller would make a significant impact on both the mother and baby!

Mariah is 18 years old and lives in PA

Mariah is a caring, independent young lady with a gift for cosmetology and helping others feel beautiful! While Mariah did not have much family support as she aged in foster care, she remained connected to her younger sister, who is her inspiration to be a better version of herself every day. Mariah aged out of the foster care system after the system was unable to locate a long-term placement option for her. Since then, she has worked hard to keep a roof above her head and to pay her bills without much guidance or support from adult role models. In the midst of aging out of foster care, she learned that she was pregnant. Now, Mariah has two inspirations to be her best self: her younger sister and her child. Her goal is to be the best mother and sister.
