Lukas is a great young man who is mature beyond his years. CPS has been a constant in his life due to domestic violence and untreated mental illness on behalf of his parents. This has caused Lukas to manage himself for most of his life. He and his parents were evicted and found themselves homeless. Those who work with him at school say Lukas is smart, quiet, and so insightful. He wants more for his life and is determined to graduate and work towards career goals that provide him a place to call his own.

Lukas is currently homeless, as his family was recently evicted from their home. Lukas would like to find a part-time job, but he needs a phone to connect with potential employers. Lukas wants to help contribute to his basic needs, and a part-time job will allow him to do that. He has lived through numerous evictions as a child and would like to start caring for himself and planning his future. Working over the summer will help get him started. He is a wonderful, mature, and insightful kid who just needs some support to get on his own feet.
