Alina will be going to camp this summer. She is super excited because the camp she was selected to attend will teach her to ride horses. Alina has had a difficult time this past year, and she is looking forward to going away to camp for four weeks. While at camp, she will also have counseling to help with the trauma coming into foster care has caused Alina. A new pair of shoes for camp would help Alina not worry so much about having enough clothing and shoes for camp. Before coming into care, Alina shared that she hardly ever had new shoes and always had to shop at Goodwill. Alina stated a new pair of sneakers means "if you look good, you feel good. You’re gonna perform good.” Alina will be so proud to wear these shoes to camp this summer.
