Olivia and her two half-siblings have been in care since 2021 due to severe domestic violence. Being the oldest, she has always felt the need to protect her younger siblings. When they were brought into care, Olivia was placed with her paternal grandparents, but her siblings were unable to stay with them, so they were separated but still visited often. Unfortunately, things did not work out in Olivia's kinship placement but she has found a safe home with a caring family. Throughout the case, Olivia stayed positive and always honest about what was going on and what she was feeling. Olivia has been very open and honest with her placement providers, school officials, counselors, and anyone who would listen. She just wanted to feel safe and wanted her mom and siblings to be safe.

Olivia and her siblings have been placed on a trial home visit with their mom, and they are all doing fantastic. However, they came to the new home with nothing. Olivia really wishes she had a TV to play games on and watch with her family in the evenings. She had a TV before, but it was destroyed and taken away while living in an unsafe environment. Olivia is excited about this new start with her mom and siblings. A TV will allow them to bond and create new positive lasting memories.
