Directions for LivingJaylen lives with her maternal grandmother in Florida. She was removed from her parents when she was a toddler due to neglect. Since then, she has been raised by her grandparents. Jaylen had some struggles with behavior, but she has turned around both her behavior and academics. She loves her pet dog, listening to music, and playing volleyball.
A volleyball rebounder will help improve Jaylen's volleyball skills and make her confident for high school volleyball tryouts. Jaylen has worked hard to make connections with peers and be involved in the community. However, she does not have anyone to practice volleyball with because her grandmother has Lupus, which prohibits her from going outside with Jaylen. Jaylen would really love to have a volleyball rebounder as it would provide her with an outlet for stress and allow her to exercise while doing something she loves. Unfortunately, her grandmother is unable to afford a volleyball rebounder due to financial stress caused by lack of support and inability to work. Jaylen's health is also suffering, and she would benefit from being able to exercise in a way that interests her.
