JaCarlos is a personable, laid-back, and hard-working young man. Despite a variety of setbacks with previous placements and life situations, he was able to graduate high school on time. He has worked continuously, even after the unexpected death of his mother. JaCarlos has always wanted to set himself apart from others as he always shares that he wants to take advantage of the support he has while in foster care to properly prepare for aging out of care.

JaCarlos has been accepted as an HVAC student at American Trade School and has already reached out to professionals in the field to seek their support and guidance while completing the 14-month program. Since JaCarlos has never owned a computer, having a laptop would greatly benefit him as the school's computer lab has limited hours. His HVAC program requires him to use a computer with Wi-Fi for assignments and Zoom group meetings with professors and classmates. JaCarlos is fully committed to working towards a successful career in HVAC.
