NJ DCFS - Monmouth CountyMariah is hard of hearing and does ASL with her friends and some family. Mariah is a child who loves to be with her friends and go to Boys and Girls club after school. She loves fashion and dreams of one day going to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
Mariah loves fashion and looking well put together. Being that her mother is a single mother of 3 kids, she knows how to do that on a budget and with hand-me-downs. Her mother always takes them school clothes shopping before the first day of school but cannot this year as the family was just evicted from their home. Her mother also has to work less hours in the summer to care for the children so there's even less money to work with at this time. Mariah wishes for a gift card to Forever 21 to pick out a few outfits to start school with.
