Izzy is on a journey to develop her skills, and it's wonderful that she's engaging in fun exercises and play activities to help her along the way! However, with her aunt’s home having hardwood floors, it can be a bit tricky for her to play safely and comfortably. To make playtime more enjoyable and supportive for Izzy, setting up a cozy, dedicated play area would be a great idea! This space could be soft and cushioned, which would not only keep her safe but also give her the freedom to hop around and explore her games and exercises. By creating this special play zone, her aunt can help turn playtime into a fun and beneficial experience for Izzy’s growth!
Izzy is 4 years old and lives in CA
Izzy and her twin sister were removed from their home after their mother was caught attempting to run someone over in a parking lot. While this has been a challenging situation, Izzy is a bright and loving child who finds joy in sensory toys and music. Currently, she and her sister are living with their great aunt, who is supporting them through this transition and is teaching Izzy how to swim. To ensure that Izzy receives the necessary support at school, her aunt collaborated with CASA to set up an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting.
