Eli is a curious, observant, and sweet boy. He previously lived with his mother in a motel, but when she suffered a medical crisis due to drug use, Eli entered the foster care system at the age of 2. At that time, he was non-verbal due to trauma but has since overcome many health scares and hospital stays. Eli brings smiles, joy, and hope to everyone who interacts with him, and he has clicked with his foster family like a missing puzzle piece. He loves playing chef, playing with magnets, racing Hot Wheels, collecting stuffed animals, and listening to Disney music.

Eli is about to start preschool after his birthday in December, marking an important milestone in his development. When he first came into care, he was mostly non-verbal, but he has made remarkable progress in his communication skills. One of Eli's favorite ways to express himself is through toys that make sounds, which brings him joy and encourages him to use his voice. That’s why the story machine will be a perfect gift for him; it will provide an engaging way for him to continue developing his speech while harnessing his strengths.
