Haiti is a loving single mother of a beautiful baby girl. After many years in the shelter system, she finally got her own subsidized apartment in a new building in the Bronx, which has been life-changing. But with no family or friends to help with childcare, Haiti is pretty much on her own. Despite daily struggles, Haiti is a strong and resilient person. Her daughter is the light of her life, and she is committed to working hard to find stability for herself and for her child.

Haiti is striving to bring holiday cheer this Christmas, despite the financial challenges she faces. She dreams of preparing a big meal filled with cherished holiday traditions, a special experience she's never had the opportunity to create for her family. A Target gift card would make a world of difference, enabling her to shop for groceries and finally prepare a full Christmas dinner for her loved ones.
