Angelina recently entered foster care because her adoptive mother refused to take on parental responsibility. As a toddler, Angelina, along with her twin sister, experienced abuse. Due to Angelina's mental health issues and untreated trauma, her adoptive mother decided that she no longer wanted to care for her and did not pick her up from the mental health hospital. Angelina is a sweet and vibrant young lady who enjoys butterflies and crafting.

Angela is working through the traumas she has faced in her life. She participates in group activities and is receiving individual counseling at the residential treatment center where she is currently staying. Angelina would like to have a butterfly charm for her upcoming 16th birthday. The butterfly signifies growth and transformation throughout life, which is exactly what Angelina is doing right now. This charm will forever represent the growth she is experiencing at this stage of life.
