Eimy is an amazing young lady who emigrated from Honduras in 2021. Having to complete school in a completely new place and in a new language was difficult but she persevered and graduated. Eimy is a very happy person who likes to go to new places, sing (though she feels she’s not very good at it) and dance – a lot! She says her favorite colors are blue and yellow because they remind her of the sky and sun and relays to her a “new beginning”

After the heartbreaking loss of her parents, Eimy moved to Washington from Honduras, while her sister relocated to Nebraska. It’s been over four years since they’ve been together, and Eimy’s greatest wish is to reunite with her sister for her birthday this June. She dreams of celebrating her special day surrounded by the love and laughter they shared in Honduras. While the cost of a plane ticket is out of reach, the opportunity to reconnect would mean the world to Eimy. This wish is about more than travel — it’s about family, healing, and making cherished memories once again.
