Devon and his family are experiencing homelessness, which has greatly affected his ability to concentrate in school. Despite his best efforts, some days are more challenging than others. Devon has a warm smile, and his laughter can brighten any environment. He hopes to graduate from high school and pursue a college education, although he has not yet decided on a specific field of study. As a middle child, Devon shares a strong bond with both his brother and sister. Family is very important to him. Devon and his family are currently receiving support from the Department of Children and Family Services.

Devon currently lives in a motel with his mother and siblings as they wait to transition to a permanent home. The experience of homelessness has significantly impacted his mental health and overall well-being. Despite these challenges, Devon is working hard to improve his grades and make his family proud. He enjoys snacks, particularly chips and beef jerky, but he doesn't have a strong preference for sweets. Devon would love an Easter basket filled with his favorite treats, as it would show him that he is special and supported during this difficult time.
