Celeste was raised by her great-grandparents from the day she was born. She lost the woman she called "Mom" when her great-grandmother fell ill and passed away. Following this loss, her great-grandfather, the only guardian she had left, decided he could no longer care for her. This heartbreaking decision forced Celeste into the foster care system just as she was approaching adulthood. Feeling alone in an unfamiliar world, Celeste could have easily lost hope. Instead, she has fought to stay on track, displaying unwavering determination to succeed. Despite the emotional and personal struggles she has faced, she remains dedicated to her education.

At just 17, Celeste has faced more hardship than most experience in a lifetime. Now, like any other senior, Celeste dreams of one thing: attending her senior prom. A night of celebration, laughter, and belonging—a chance to share a milestone with her friends and peers. After everything she’s been through, Celeste deserves this moment of joy.
