Michelle is a kind, empathetic, and determined young woman. She has overcome a lot of adversity in her life and hopes to stop the cycle of generational abuse she and her family have endured. Michelle plans to study to become a psychologist so that she can help other youth in the foster care community. She has amazing inner strength and wisdom beyond her years, and those who are close to her describe her as a true joy to be around.

Michelle would like to receive an iPad to help her with her studies as she heads off to college. With the need to take notes in class, conduct research, and participate in virtual meetings, an iPad would be an invaluable tool for her. Currently, she relies on a very old laptop that is barely functional, and an iPad would be much easier for her to carry around campus.
