Alicia has spent nine years in foster care and is currently in extended foster care. As a single parent, she is participating in the Sparks mentor program to receive support in achieving her personal goals. Despite having experienced homelessness, Alicia is determined to better manage her financial, physical, and emotional well-being. She believes that regardless of her circumstances, she can always remain strong and keep pushing forward.

Alicia and her daughter have recently moved, and she needs assistance furnishing her daughter's room to make it feel more like home. A rug would be very helpful because it can prevent items from getting misplaced or broken. Plus, this rug will create a safe and comfortable space for her daughter to play.
