Sarah will be starting classes through the community college soon and would like to have access to the internet to participate in her courses and search for job opportunities. She is requesting this iPad because she believes it is affordable. She said, "I understand times are tough; I don't need anything too fancy, just something lightweight, portable, and that allows me to get online." This will make such a great birthday gift for Sarah!
Sarah is 17 years old and lives in CA
Sarah has faced numerous obstacles throughout her life and has never had a long-term placement. She has been in over 20 different placements and is approaching the age at which she will age out of the foster care system. Recognizing the importance of education, Sarah plans to attend a local community college. She will be attending school full-time while also working. Sarah believes that education is the key to stability and is looking forward to becoming independent.
