After being placed in foster care by his biological parents, he was adopted, but then suffered abuse from his adoptive mother. This hurt caused him to go back into foster care, where he is now focused on healing and understanding his experiences.

King often struggles with intense emotions that stem from his deep pain and confusion. To help support his emotional well-being, he would love to have a bicycle that would provide him with a sense of freedom and normalcy. Having a bike will allow him to release energy, self-regulate, and feel more in control.
