A pair of retro Jordans for Nash's birthday
Nash, 8 years old

The National Youth Advocate ProgramNash has been in foster care for a little over a year now. Since entering care, he has been working on learning to read, improving his mental health, and trying new enjoyable activities. Although foster care has been a difficult adjustment for him, we are incredibly proud of the progress he continues to make every day. After entering care, Nash was diagnosed with ADHD and has been learning new coping skills to help manage it. With the extra support he has received, he has made significant strides! Nash also attends an after-school program for youth affected by substance abuse, which has been instrumental in supporting him during this challenging time.
Nash loves playing soccer and basketball at the recreation center. Many of his new friends have basketball shoes, which makes Nash feel left out. As a child in foster care, not having basketball shoes adds to his feelings of isolation. With his birthday approaching, Nash has his eye on a specific pair of basketball shoes. Not only would receiving these shoes make him incredibly happy, but they would also help boost his confidence!
