Nina was placed in foster care after experiencing homelessness and neglect from a very young age. Initially she faced significant emotional and behavioral challenges but she has responded well to supports in place at school and in the foster home and has been able to make amazing progress. Nina is working on finding activities to help her calm and relax in the home, which can be quite busy.

Nina is working very hard on regulating her emotions and having a positive playtime experience with the other foster children in her home. Having a tablet would allow her to play games or watch shows to help her build quiet routines, and it would be a helpful tool for her to relax and have independent time.
