Joey is a cheerful young man in foster care who faces some developmental delays. He loves gaming and is an only child, but he enjoys spending time with his mother and attending social events with his friends. Joey is also a huge fan of Naruto.

Although Joey is extremely good at math, he currently only has a 1st grade reading and writing level and has recently become a homebound student. His mother has developed a binder with 1st grade writing worksheets for Joey to complete. He is doing the best he can to reach his goals and wants to celebrate with an Xbox gift card to purchase the games he enjoys.
