CASA IN - Batholomew CountyRosie is a joyful and curious girl with bright eyes that seem to absorb everything around her. Even at such a young age, she brings light and laughter to those who care for her, especially her siblings, with whom she shares a strong and special bond. Currently, Rosie is in foster care with family, surrounded by love as she waits for the moment she can return home to her mom. Despite her young age, she has already demonstrated quiet strength, growing and thriving through life's early challenges.
Rosie’s biggest need right now is a stroller. While a stroller may not seem like a typical request for a child, in Rosie’s case, it is directly related to her ability to reunite with her mother. Rosie is currently in licensed foster care with her two siblings, all under the age of three. Their mother is close to being reunited with them, but one of the final barriers is transportation. She doesn’t have a car, and with three very young children, it’s nearly impossible for her to get everyone to appointments or outings safely on foot. This stroller would allow Rosie and her siblings to spend more time outside the home with their family, attend important visits, and, most importantly, help eliminate one of the last obstacles to going home. This stroller would directly support Rosie’s well-being and her return to her mother. It’s not just about convenience; it’s a practical step toward stability and permanency for a young child who is eager to go home. For Rosie, it’s more than just a stroller—it represents a step closer to reunification, more shared memories, and being back in her mother’s arms full-time.
