Katherine is a student at Sacramento State and is involved in the Guardian Scholars program, which supports former foster youth. She is majoring in philosophy. In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, a chihuahua and dachshund mix she adopted a few years ago. He has proven to be a wonderful companion and a valuable learning experience for her. Katherine's hobbies include reading books and listening to music, but her true passion lies in art.

Katherine is really excited about the possibility of getting a rock tumbler! She has a strong desire to learn how to create beautiful handcrafted items, like jewelry and even some home decor pieces. Art is her true passion, and she believes this journey would not only be enjoyable but also deeply fulfilling for her. Plus, as she hones her skills and develops her craft, she sees this as a fantastic opportunity to potentially start her own little business in the future.
