Brandie is attending college and has a long-term goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to help others navigate the challenges she has faced in her own life. As a former foster youth, she has learned how to persevere through stress and uncertainty. She enjoys attending Guardian Scholar events when she is not focused on school, and her schedule allows. She also loves dancing, cooking, and creating art. Dancing is her favorite form of exercise, while art, through beadwork, crocheting, painting, and writing poetry, has become a crucial outlet for managing stress and expressing herself. Cooking, though once a joyful hobby, has become difficult to keep up with due to school, work, and family demands.

In 2023, while attending Community College, Brandie was diagnosed with liver cancer. Thankfully, she is now in recovery, but her health remains a priority. A balanced, low-fat diet is essential for her well-being, so she wishes for a Multi Cooker Air Fryer. Being able to prepare nutritious meals at home would be a huge step forward in her healing journey. As a former foster youth, Brandie has had to adapt quickly, often putting her own needs aside to survive. Granting this wish would relieve the daily anxiety of not knowing whether she will have time to cook a healthy meal. It would be one less thing to worry about, and that relief would allow her to focus more fully on her studies and herself.
