Busy board for Jaxson to keep him engaged

Jaxon, 3 years old, NJ

Marksboro Community Church

Jaxon is an adorable little boy who enjoys playing with his sister. He loves the game "Danny, Go" and playing on his tablet. Currently, he is in foster care, and his biological father is working closely with the division to try to regain custody of him.

A Montessori busy board would be a huge help for Jaxson, a 3-year-old boy with autism who currently spends a lot of time on his tablet. His foster mom is trying to gently shift him away from screen time and offer more hands-on, meaningful ways to play and learn. This board would give Jaxson a chance to stay engaged and calm without relying on electronics, which is really important for his development. He loves using his hands and finds comfort in repetitive tasks, so being able to zip, snap, and buckle helps him feel calm and in control. It’s more than just a toy; it’s a step toward balance, growth, and providing him with the tools he needs to thrive. His foster mom just wants what’s best for him, and this would be such a wonderful gift in helping her support him.
