Leah is living in one of the Extended Foster Care (EFC) housing programs. She is a determined young woman working hard to fulfill her childhood dream of joining the Navy. Leah enjoys spending time with her friends and going on runs, which helps her stay grounded and motivated as she pursues her goals.

Leah is currently working toward enlisting in the Navy and is hopeful that she will be able to ship off to boot camp by the end of this month. One of her main concerns is that when she graduates from boot camp, she may not have a functioning phone. Her current phone has been experiencing significant glitches and is unreliable. Leah hopes to have a new phone so she can stay connected with her family and friends once she is stationed in another state. Maintaining these connections is especially important to her as she begins this new chapter in her life.
