Amari has been involved with the Division since August 2023 due to concerns about his mother's ability to safely supervise the children, which arose from an incident involving alcohol and substance intoxication. Since then, the mother has taken significant steps toward recovery and has remained sober. Amari loves sports, particularly soccer, and his hobbies include playing sports, video games (especially Minecraft), and spending time with friends.

Amari has joined the local soccer recreation team and is passionate about the sport, which has become a meaningful outlet for him. However, due to ongoing financial hardship, his mother is unable to provide properly fitting cleats for him. Currently, her only source of financial support is his maternal grandmother, whose assistance is limited. Despite these challenges, Amari holds his head high and is proud to be on the team! Having the right cleats will help him feel more like he belongs with the other kids and will ensure his feet are comfortable.
