Karina has faced many challenges in her life, from growing up in foster care to constantly moving and having to navigate things on her own. Despite these difficulties, she has shown remarkable persistence and takes pride in her progress. Currently, she is a full-time student majoring in Business and has participated in various internships and fellowships where she advocates for foster youth. Her motivation lies in creating real change within the foster care system so that other young people do not have to endure the same traumas she experienced. Karina enjoys connecting with others, being creative, and using her voice to inspire those around her. Although she is still in the process of healing and growing, she is continually learning to transform her experiences into something meaningful.

Karina's life changed suddenly when she had to move for her safety, leaving many of her things behind. In today’s world, having a phone is so important for staying connected with friends and family, as well as keeping up with school and work. Getting a new phone would help her manage her studies, stay in touch with her job, and keep in touch with her loved ones. With a mix of sadness and determination, Karina reached out for help, hoping that a new phone could be the tool she needed to rebuild her life.
