Talyiah, who sometimes goes by Alyiah, is a hardworking single mother of two. She loves taking her kids out to have fun and has finally obtained stable housing. Alyiah has struggled in the foster system, but it has also built her to be a resilient and loving mother.

Taliyah has moved into aftercare and has had most of her support services concluded. Her last request from our program was for assistance in obtaining a laptop, which would help her access job applications, explore college options, and maintain communication with her limited support network. Providing her with this laptop will greatly benefit her during these challenging times by ensuring she has the technology needed to achieve her goals. Plus, it will reinforce the idea that there are programs and people willing to help her, offering her hope for the future.
