Ryan has spent many years in foster care and has been separated from family members for most of that time. He has experienced a lot of moves and instability but continues to have a positive attitude despite all of his struggles! Ryan loves to play with Legos and build things. He is very intelligent and does well when he's learning new things. When Ryan isn't building or creating, then you can find him working on an art project or his latest drawing that he's making for one of his treatment team providers.

Ryan really likes to seek out different sensory experiences. When he's feeling anxious, bored, or just needs to calm down, he often chews on his fingers and lips. He was thrilled to discover that there are sensory chew toys made for older kids and adults! He’s excited to try a pack that includes three different rubber chews: a ring, a "dog tag," and a gem shape. They come on necklace cords, so he can wear them as "chewelry" and have one handy whenever he needs it. These sensory chews will help support Ryan with his ADHD, Autism, and sensory processing needs, allowing him to better regulate his emotions and set him up for success each day!
