It would make it easier for him to connect with potential employers and access important services. Without a permanent support system, Cornelio is currently unemployed and at risk of homelessness. Also, Cornelio is excited to be a dad soon—his first child is due in November. Having a phone would help him stay in touch with his girlfriend during the pregnancy so he can support her and be there for important moments.
