Think of UsDe'Johnnae has had a very rough journey. De'Johnnae was in care throughout her childhood. And recently, she and her younger brother (who she cares for) experienced homelessness. They would alternate between couch surfing, sleeping in a park, and living in De'Johnnae's car. But thankfully, they've overcome this hardship and finally have a stable place to call home again. De'Johnnae has also just gained a temporary job as a nighttime caregiver before she starts nursing classes later this summer. One thing is for certain - De'Johnnae wants to turn things around so she can prepare herself for success and learn how she can help people in need.
De'Johnnae is working hard toward her dream of becoming a licensed cosmetologist. While facing housing instability, she remains dedicated to her program and is set to graduate in January 2026. As part of her training, she’s learning a wide range of beauty services — including manicures — and is in need of a Nail Studio Set so she can practice and refine her skills outside of the classroom. This wish would enable her to pursue her education with confidence, deepen her expertise, and move one step closer to a more stable and independent future.
