Jett is a deeply creative and observant young man. He loves to draw, build with Legos, and collect bugs, often watching those around him as he tries to make a connection. He lives with his biological mom, a single parent who, despite financial and emotional struggles, is doing her best to support him. Jett is in an intensive program for behavioral reasons related to his Autism disorder. He's a very caring and truthful child, and though he doesn't smile often, his rare smiles are truly captivating and bring joy to everyone around him.

Jett often complains about how much he dislikes the heat, yet he enjoys the bugs that come with it. He just wishes it weren't so hot because he doesn't like sweating. Raised by a single mother, Jett has faced financial sacrifices, such as not being able to run the air conditioning. To stay cool during the summer, Jett has asked for a fan for his room.
