Against all odds, she is a respectful student who is doing well in school, despite facing difficulties and frequent upheaval. Ione entered foster care due to her mother's ongoing struggles with mental illness and her father's incarceration.
Ione is extremely shy and walks to the beat of her own drum. She typically dresses in sweatshirts and jeans, nothing too flashy, but she loves colorful tennis shoes. Ione does not usually focus on brands but has expressed that her one wish is for a particular pair of Nike shoes to fit in at school. Having a pair of shoes similar to those of her classmates would do wonders for her self-confidence and positivity, as well as provide her with a pair of shoes that are sturdy, appropriate, and long-lasting.
