Lily is a bright, curious, and insightful young girl who has shown remarkable resilience over the past year. She is intelligent and reflective, often asking thoughtful questions and demonstrating a deep desire to understand the world around her. During her time in placement, Lily fully engaged in therapy and successfully completed her therapeutic program, meeting her goals and mastering body safety skills. Lily is now looking forward to reunification with her mother and extended family. She is ready to take this next step with the support of her team and family network.

Lily is looking forward to reuniting with her mother after a year in placement, but with this transition comes some concerns about safety. She is afraid to be alone for a few hours each day after school until her mother returns from work, which has prompted her to wish for a Ring camera system with additional sensors for the back door and windows of their home. Two years ago, Lily was removed from her home due to instances of running away and exploitation. The area where they live is particularly vulnerable to crime, especially given its tourist-heavy environment and casino traffic, which makes it a target for trafficking. Unfortunately, Lily’s mother has been unable to secure alternative housing, making it a security system essential for the reunification to occur within their current home. Given these circumstances, Lily has expressed that she would like to have a security system that would provide an important layer of safety. It would not only help ensure her security but also offer peace of mind for both her and her mother as they navigate this adjustment period. With the cameras in place, Lily feels she could transition back to home life with greater confidence and comfort.
