Growing up in foster care instilled in Jaliyah resilience, independence, and determination. After experiencing multiple placements, she ultimately found stability through adoption. These challenges fostered her compassion and strengthened her determination to succeed both academically and professionally as a student, dance instructor, and hospital employee.

Jaliyah would like to film her full-body dance choreography hands-free for her business. She wishes for a smartphone tripod that will allow her to record routines, teach virtual classes, and create professional-quality content for her business and school projects. Having a professional tripod will make a huge difference in her ability to work independently, especially since she currently does not have a car and needs to create more online content to reach her audience.
