Lucas has grown an incredible amount since being placed in foster care. Lucas enjoys helping his foster parents provide for household animals including the dogs and chickens. Lucas loves learning how things work utilizing STEM toys to learn about circuits, robots, weather and other similar topics. Lucas is a great big brother and helps watch out for his three younger foster sisters. Lucas has identified coping skills and expresses desire to utilize grounding and mindfulness techniques to effectively manage his emotions. He is always asking questions to learn more about the world and his surrounding. Lucas is always a joy to be around and puts a smile on everyone's face!

Lucas and his brothers and sisters are really excited about getting new bikes. A few years ago, when they first came to their foster home, they got bikes that they used a lot. Lucas has grown taller, and now his bike is too small for him. He really wants a new bike that fits him so he can keep riding to school with his siblings. Riding together is not just about going to school; it’s a fun way for them to be outside and feel free. A new bike would help Lucas keep up with them, stay active, and begin the school year feeling happy and excited for new adventures.
