TJ's journey as a former foster youth is defined by resilience, grit, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth. Throughout his time in the foster care system, he faced unstable living conditions and often felt overlooked by those responsible for his care. However, everything changed when he was assigned a CASA worker. This relationship provided the support he desperately needed, enabling him to open up, advocate for himself, and begin the healing process he longed for. With this newfound encouragement, TJ transformed into a stronger individual and a dedicated student, eventually becoming a loving husband. He is currently pursuing a major in English and a minor in Child Development, aspiring to be an author. Through storytelling, he aims to give voice to the experiences of youth like himself, inspiring change and hope for future generations. Outside of his academic pursuits, TJ finds solace and freedom in two of his greatest passions: video games and motorcycling. These activities offer him a therapeutic escape from life's challenges—whether it's the imaginative possibilities of virtual worlds or the exhilarating feeling of wind against his face on the open road. Motorcycling is more than just a hobby for TJ; it serves as his primary mode of transportation and a vital part of his daily routine, symbolizing his independence and adventurous spirit.
